Chapter: Ch1 Computer Intro
The Master Slide defines the common layout, background, and formatting for all slides in your presentation. It ensures consistency across your presentation and saves time while designing multiple slides.
Steps to Create or Modify a Master Slide:
Tip: Changes made in the master slide are automatically applied to all slides using that master.
Once your slides are ready, you can prepare them for presentation using various view modes and layout settings.
Shortcut: Switch to Slide Sorter View with Ctrl + Shift + 3.
LibreOffice Impress allows you to display your slides in full-screen slideshow mode for audience presentation.
You can also use the Slide Show Toolbar for on-screen navigation and laser pointer tools.
Slide transitions add visual effects when moving from one slide to another, while timings control how long each slide stays visible.
Tip: Use subtle transitions for professional presentations — too many effects can distract the audience.
You can make your presentation automatic by setting animation timings and using custom animation effects.
To make the entire slideshow run automatically:
Shortcut: Shift + F5 — start automatic show from the current slide.
